IRFC Q1 Results 2025 Today: Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC), the state-run railway infrastructure financier, announced its April-June quarter results for the 2025-26 fiscal year on Tuesday, 22 July 2025. 


Railway PSU's net profit for the April-June quarter jumped 10% to ₹1,745 crore, compared year-on-year (YoY) with ₹1,577 crore in the same period a year ago. 


The company's revenue from core operations jumped 2.2% to ₹6,915 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26, compared to ₹6,765 crore in the same period the previous financial year. This rise in revenue was driven by the company's income from leasing operations. 


IRFC is Navratna PSU under administrative control of the Ministry of Railways. It is also registered as Systemically Important Non–Deposit taking Non Banking Financial Company (NBFC – ND-SI) and Infrastructure Finance Company (NBFC- IFC) with Reserve Bank of India (RBI).


IRFC share price traded lower on Tuesday, ahead of the announcement of Q1 results today. The PSU railway stock has declined over 12% YTD, but has delivered multibagger returns of 535% in the past three years.

IRFC Q1 Results Live: IRFC shares have given stock market investors more than 427% returns on their investment in the last five years. However, the Railway PSU stock has lost 36.11% in the last one-year period. 


On a year-to-date (YTD) basis, the shares are down 13.07% in 2025 and are trading 3.61% lower in the last five stock market sessions. The shares hit their 52-week high at ₹209.10 on 22 July 2024, exactly one year ago, while the 52-week low level was at ₹108.05 on 3 March 2025, according to BSE data. 


The PSU railway stock's market capitalisation stands at over ₹1.70 lakh crore, as of the stock market close on Tuesday, 22 July 2025.

IRFC Q1 Results Live: Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) revenue from core operations jumped 2.2% to ₹6,915 crore in the first quarter of the financial year 2025-26, compared to ₹6,765 crore in the same period the previous financial year. 


Even though the company's interest income dropped more than 17% in the first quarter to ₹1,497 crore, compared to its earlier 1,819 crore a year ago, the company's income from leasing operations contributed to the jump in the quarterly profits. 


The Railway PSU's income from leasing operations jumped 9.2% YoY to ₹5,404 crore in the first quarter, compared to ₹4,946 crore in the same period the previous fiscal year.
